You may already know King's Daughters has grants from Susan G. Komen to fund screening mammograms for uninsured/underinsured women. But did you know these same grants can help women who need additional testing or treatment services? They can!
Covered services include:
- Diagnostic mammograms
- Breast ultrasound
- Breast MRI
- Breast biopsy
- Screening mammograms
- Education and awareness
Additional funding is provided by Kentucky's Breast Cancer Research and Education Trust Fund through sales of the state's Driving for a Cure license plates.
- Women age 40 to 64 years of age who are uninsured or whose deductibles/co-pays make it difficult for them to afford follow-up services
- Residents of Boyd, Carter, Elliott, Floyd, Greenup, Johnson, Lewis and Martin counties in Kentucky
- Residents of Jackson, Lawrence and Scioto counties in Ohio (residents of contiguous counties may also be eligible)
Now there's no excuse to not have a mammogram and necessary follow-up services. The time to Act PINK! is now.
